Ozone is a triatomic molecule present in low concentrations
throughout the Earth's atmosphere. Ozone near the Earth's surface
is known as ground level ozone and is an air pollutant which can
have harmful effects on lung function. Asthma sufferers can be
particularly sensitive to ozone and should avoid air purifiers
such as ozone generators which create possibly harmful levels of
